Every corner in everyday life is filled with “beauty”, and the central-western district of Tainan City is the center of cultural district in Tainan. It houses the most condensed ancient heritages in Taiwan, from where all faces of beauty can be presented in everyday life. Places like the Confucius Temple, Butokuden, Japanese Patriotic Women’s Association are all laden with historical beauty. Building 1 & 2 of Tainan Art Museum demonstrate the artistic beauty. Judicial Museum archives the beauty of law, while National Museum of Taiwan Literature and Ye, Shih-tao recorded the beauty of literature. The beauty of gourmet is hidden in the alleys and streets everywhere in Tainan with its tradition and creativity.

Beauty in life is the product of social realization. Man, in the process of creating the society, also created the world of beauty. Beauty has its certain influence on people’s life because it originates in life and is presented through life. Through these two perspectives of different natures, subjectivity and objectivity, “the journey of beauty” connects the visibility and correlativity of “beauty” and allows students to explore and feel in person the “beauty” in everyday life.
