Grading Criteria

For freshman of the 108th academic year who elect the Exploring Tainan course,
please note that the grading criteria for the course is slightly different from those
freshmen who enrolled in the 106th and 107th academic years.

 

 

The number of credits for freshman admissions electing the Exploring Tainan course in the first semester (fall semester) of the 108th academic year is set at one credit, and this standard will also be applicable in the 110th academic year.

Score Policies

 1. The Exploring Tainan course has
     three routes, including the
     Lectures and three routes,
     which are NCKU Students'
     Routes, one major route, and
     one minor route.

 2. Note that NCKU students must
     complete all routes. Additional
     make-up classes that will be
     deducted points given as
     appropriate.

 3. Assignment Report and the
     learning sheets will not be
     accepted if students. fail to
     attend any of the following: the
     lectures and three routes: The
     Route for NCKU Students, one
     major route, and one minor
     route.

 4. The score on the route learning
     sheet includes:(1)Questions
     answered;(2)Bonus points for
     interaction.

A written assignment with words and photos of about 1000 words.

NCKU students must complete one lecture, NCKU Student’s Routes, one alternative major route, and one alternative minor route before writing the assignment report.

1. All freshmen admitted (including those from the 106th and 107th academic years) MUST complete one lecture,
    one alternative major route, one alternative minor route, and NCKU Student’s Routes within the semester. Upload
    a 500-word report to Moodle A WEEK after completing the routes.  

2. All routes must be taken. Some points can be deducted for make-up classes.

3. The learning sheet is the basis of attendance, and all questions must be answered correctly.

4. In addition to the above-mentioned written assignment report, students are encouraged to submit additional
    photos or short videos of the Exploring Tainan experience. Bonus points or rewards will be announced later.
