Concept of the Course

  • Unique time and space of humanity: Located in Tainan, National Cheng Kung University is located in a city that has been situated at an important geographical location of time and space for Taiwan to enter the world trading system. It is also a habitat rich in prehistoric and aboriginal social activities. It owns unparalleled history and multi-cultural tradition.

  • The design and planning of the core curriculum of cross-college general education: combining the historical formation of Tainan (Fu-Cheng: Capital City) with the pulse and vision of contemporary urban development of Tainan and realize the linkage between school teaching and social pulses.

The course tries to cultivate students' interdisciplinary social practices through humanistic care.
