│Governing Director’s Residence│

Tainan Governing Director's Residence, built between 1898 and 1906. After being converted to Tainan State in 1922, this place served as the dormitory of the Minister of the Interior. After World War II, the land was owned by the Tainan City Government and it was once used as government officials’ residence, and later assigned to Tainan First Senior High School to be used as faculty’s dormitory. After the restoration was completed in September 2017, it has been used as a guest house for the mayor of Tainan to receive foreign visitors.
