Xin-Hua Butokuden

Xin-Hua Butokuden was found in 1924. It was initially an office of malaria prevention and control in the Xin-Hua District. In 1936, it became a Martial Arts Hall in the Xin-Hua branch under the Tainan office, and it provides a space for people to practice judo and kendo. After the war, it became a dormitory for police dependents. After being registered as a historic building in 2006, it was renovated into a public space for Xin-Hua residents. Also, static art exhibitions, lectures, concerts, and kendo teaching are all held here. At the same time, it serves as a place for social education.
