Zongye Arts and Cultural Center
The cultural center was the factory and office of Meiji Sugar Company in the Japanese occupation era. The red-brick building (former office of the company), guest house (former employees' club), red-brick handicraft hall (former employees' restaurant), Yen, Shuiong Memorial Hall (former nurse's office) and the factory director's dormitory are being preserved. The crushing device used to squeeze sugarcanes and the motor engines of sugarcane-carrying trains are also kept here to as a testament to the history of the sugar-making industry. The cultural center is now an exhibition space of arts and culture. Its annual culture event draws many visitors here.
