Route Introduction

Daofeng Internal Ocean Story Hall

“Internal Ocean”(Nei Hai) refers to the seashore area near the harbor, usually a commercial harbor in ancient times. The Daofeng Internal Ocean was for 200 to 300 years ago a transportation hub in a lagoon area and the aboriginal people from Xiaolong Tribe dwelt here, too. Historically, Daofeng Internal Ocean was more than just a commercial and trade hub, it also bears witness of the time when Han people and aboriginal people lived together in the same community.
