Route Introduction

Madou Ancient Harbor Cultural Park

The Shuijuetou site has been listed among Tainan County's ancient heritage sites since 2003. The excavation has been conducted for years by a team led by Academia Sinica researcher Professor Liu, Yi-Chang for years. The image of the harbor, the navigation canal, the harbor city, and the ancient well from two hundred years ago have all been unearthed and presented. With great efforts from the government, scholars, and local leaders, the Madou Ancient Harbor Cultural Park is shining with past glory.
