Taijang Shanhaizun Green Pathway

Loving the hometown and protecting the water, walking down Taijang Shanhaizun Green Pathway, a green pathway jointly created by the communities along the river and the Tainan Municipal Government. Trees were being planted along the Great Jianan Irrigation Ditch; it extends over 45 kilometers from Taijang National Park to Wusanto Reservoir. Local people planted trees and maintained the river, exercising the spirit of Dadaugong to protect the environment of their homeland. Yet, the urban planning projects and industrial development sacrificed the area along Taijang. When you walk through the pathway and come to understand the preciousness of the ecology and the historical culture, you understand that something has been lost. People have since been motivated to bring the cleanliness and beauty of the Great Jianan Irrigation Ditch back. Taijang Shanhaizun Green Pathway.
