The story wall began at 2006 with the project of “Siraya Story Village”. The elderly people from the tribe came to the schools to tell children stories and legends from the tribe and the children then drew the stories on paper. The works selected are made into pottery mural- plaques to be displayed on the walls of the residents. The story wall signifies not only the inheritance of culture from the elderly to the children, they help preserve and spread the Sirayan stories and build an intimate connection between the people and the land.
