Anping Sio House (Salt Museum)

 

   Anping Sio House was the Anping office of Taiwan governor's state-run business during the Japan occupation era.“Sio”means“salt”in Japanese. It also means having an outing at sunset.“Chu-Zhang” means“business trip”in Japanese. The Sio House has become a popular tourist spot featuring“birthday salt”of 366 colors. There's a statue of Miss Jin nearby. Legend has it that Miss Jin, a biracial lady in the song“Anping Nostalgia”, is still waiting for her lover to return.
