Pioneer of Aeronautical and Astronautical Science

The launch of the "ROCSAT-1" in Taiwan in 1999 symbolized the starting point of Taiwan's aerospace technology while allowing the world to see Taiwan's steady strength in aerospace technology. The Aerospace Science and Technology Research Center of the National Cheng Kung University on Gui-Ren Campus is a unique aerospace science and technology laboratory among domestic universities. The Aerospace Science and Technology Research Center is engaged in large-scale research and development projects as its main goal and looks forward to becoming a bridge between academic research and industrial technology upgrades. The research center has a wind tunnel, fire prevention center, and Formosa satellite station that makes it truly important for academic research and research and development institute.
