National Museum of Prehistory –
Southern Taiwan Science Park Branch

Represent Prehistoric life aesthetics with science and technology

   National Museum of Prehistory is located in Taitung Kang-Le Main Museum and Taitung Bei-Nan Ruins Park branch, while Southern Taiwan Science Park archeological museum is located in Tainan Science Park. Southern Taiwan Science Park Archaeological Museum is rich in prehistoric culture and has a collection of unearthed relics from 5000 to 300 years ago. The museum contains more than 8 million cultural relics, and Southern Taiwan Science Park Archaeological Museum is a museum that combines ancient civilization and modern technology. The exhibition hall utilizes technology to represent the life aesthetics of Taiwan's ancestors and inject new elements into the historical culture. Among them, "Space and Time Corridor," "Prehistoric Life Scenes," and "Children's Exhibition Hall," with the help of modern technology, have increased the willingness of adults and children to learn and easily understand the history and culture of Taiwan's prehistory. The exhibition hall displays the different cultures of the Southern Taiwan Science Park site during the six periods: Da-Pen- Keng Culture, Niu-Chou-Zi Culture, Da- Hu Culture, Niao-Song Culture, Sirayan Culture and Han Culture from Ming and Qing Dynasties.
