Route Introduction

Haishan Hall

Haishan Hall was built as a dormitory for the navy of the Qing Dynasty. There were five buildings at that time, but only this structure remains. A decorative“Sword Lion”, a protective talisman special to Anping, is present on its side door and is an indicative, unique feature of the architecture located here. More recently, it had been repurposed as a residential house. Today, it is used as a display room of cultural artifacts with a sword-lion as its mascot.
